JACARANDA SPRINGS

Public BBQ

Jacaranda Springs proves suburban Perth knows proper family-friendly barbecue spots. Expansive park wraps around pleasant pond with walking trails seeming designed for pram-pushing parents and enthusiastic dog walkers alike, though check sandpit for glass fragments before unleashing little ones. Undercover barbecue areas and gazebos provide welcome shade while basketball court offers restless teenager entertainment. Refreshingly well-maintained with thoughtfully placed bins and dog waste bags suggesting someone actually cares about keeping place pleasant. Playground strikes perfect substantial-enough-tiring-energetic-children balance yet contained enough parents can relax with proper barbecue lunch. Wildlife occasionally wanders near water adding unexpectedly charming bush element to suburban oasis.
